The big winners

The 2 biggest female winners of this year’s Oscar nominations were Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence for their amazing performance in ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘The Silver Linings Playbook’ respectively. Anne went for a ‘modern day Audrey Hepburn’ look with her chic Prada dress, natural makeup and short haircut. Her look was classy and modest. The other heroine of the night, Jennifer Lawrence went for a more exuberant look in a voluminous Dior gown. Jennifer kept her accessories to the minimum to let the gorgeous gown steal the show. By having her hair in a soft up-do and sporting subtle smoky eye make-up, she rocked the red carpet. Even when the poor girl tripped, she kept her cool and gracefully made the rest of her way up to the stage. By brushing the incident off with a small joke she made the embarrassing moment less painful. We were impressed by her talent, her strong personality and effortless style.
